Helen Hardt does it again! This book was another amazing installment to the Steel brothers story. Every time I think I have figured out what’s going to happen with the entire journey of the Steel brothers another twist in the story is thrown my way and I have to start guessing all over again.

Ryan is honestly my favorite Steel brother of the three although you can’t help but love each of them. His passion and love for Ruby is so strong and is truly beautiful. He does have moments of complete weakness though where his trust in her is lacking and is completely understandable. Ruby has gone behind Ryan’s back with his family in hopes of answers of a DNA test to determine whether all the siblings share the same parents. When he learns of this he is devastated to find out that his siblings aren’t full blooded but only his half siblings and it uproots his entire way of thinking. We watch him struggle through this book to gather his emotions and process everything that is happening with his family. Ryan starts to visit his birth mother in search of answers but she’s either crazy or a genius and there is no way of truly knowing whether she is telling the truth or not. Ryan wants to learn the truth though and he is determined, for not only himself but on behalf of his family. Is there father alive? Why was he involved with these people who have done all this wrong to his family? What will there trip to find him give them information wise? So many questions left unanswered that I will impatiently wait for the next book to find out.

Ruby has so much love for Ryan and only wants to help him and his family discover the truth, while catching her father and finally bringing him to justice for all he has done to not only Talon but to others as well. She wants nothing but to protect Ryan and do what is best for him and he does the same for her. She gets ready to go on this journey with him with a common goal, to learn the truth and seek justice once and for all. This book is an absolutely amazing addition to the series. It will take you on yet another amazing journey and leave you wanting more when you reach the end. I cannot wait for the next book and to finally learn the answers we have all been waiting for.

Saved (Honor Bound Book 1) by Angel Payne

There aren’t many books that leave me at a loss of words when I hit that last sentence, but Angel Payne did just that. I had to walk away and truly think about how I wanted to write this review.

To say this book put me through a wide range of emotions would be an understatement. It made me laugh, it made me angry, and most of all it made me happy.

I started off the first few chapters angry with Garrett. He had just saved his fiancé Sage and while she was trying to open up and explore the possibilities of him being her dominant and experimenting with BDSM, he was busy pulling away trying to protect her from himself.

When Sage gets taken for the second time my heart literally shattered for not only her but for Garrett. Sage had a strength like no other. She held onto the hope of Garrett finding her even in her darkest time.

Upon each realizing they were both holding back from one another, not only with their feelings but with the desire to explore BDSM together they really start to communicate better with one another. They developed such a deep connection that it left me completely elated for them.

This book is absolutely worth the read. You will find yourself routing for Garrett and Sage and wishing havoc on the bad guys! I cannot wait to read the next book in the series. If the next book is anything like the first I know Angel Payne’s readers surely WON’T be disappointed.
